Christa Orchard

Christa Orchard is a research associate at the Institute for Work & Health and a PhD student in epidemiology at the University of Toronto's Dalla Lana School of Public Health, under the supervision of Dr. Peter Smith. 

Orchard’s PhD focuses on using unsupervised machine learning methods to better characterize mental health service use patterns among men and women in Ontario. Her past research work has focused on mental health following a workplace injury. 

Orchard holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Sussex and the University of Toronto, and a master’s of public health, specializing in epidemiology, from the University of Toronto's Dalla Lana School of Public Health.
