Micahel Swift is a data manager/research associate at the Institute for Work & Health.
Swift is involved in all components of data management, including: collecting and capturing data information by study management systems and questionnaire-entry databases; cleaning data; storing data; and developing datasets for specific projects, presentations and publications. Swift has been a primary and secondary author on a number of Institute publications.
Before joining the Institute in 1996, Swift was working with Cancer Care Ontario. He has an honours BSc in mathematics and physics and an MSc in astrophysics from St. Mary’s University in Halifax.
