Tom Zach is director of communications and marketing at the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development, where he oversees and provides communications services and counsel to ministry policy and program areas, senior management and the Minister’s Office.

Zach recently returned from a secondment as the director of government and stakeholder relations at the Public Services Health and Safety Association (PSHSA), where he was helping the health and safety association build stronger relationships with employee and employer voting-member associations across the health, government, public safety and education sectors, as well as enhancing its profile and reputation as an innovative leader within Ontario’s occupational health and safety system.

Zach has worked as a communications professional within the public and private sectors for over 30 years. Besides the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Developmenty, he has also worked with the Technical Standards & Safety Authority, the former Ontario Ministries of Consumer and Commercial Relations, Correctional Services, Northern Development and Mines, and as director of the Communications Services Branch with Cabinet Office Communications.
