Typically released in the fall of every year, the Institute for Work & Health (IWH)’s Annual Report takes a look back at the previous fiscal year. The report includes a theme-based narrative on the fiscal year’s research and knowledge transfer and exchange activities, a look at the year in numbers, and the report of the independent auditor based on its annual review of the Institute’s financial statements.
The 2020/21 Annual Report, titled "Taking Stock," recognizes that, although we're not out of the pandemic yet, we're beginning to reflect on what workers and workplaces have been through and what it means for the future of work. To that end, the annual report describes the Institute's research in the fiscal year ending March 2021 (and in the months since then) related to COVID-19 and the work-health interface. It also describes the Institute's research into health, safety and disability issues that were important before the onset of COVID-19 and remain so today.
