We all know about the benefits of physical activity — not just to reduce the risks of chronic disease and physical injuries but also to improve mental health and productivity at work. But many people just don’t get as much physical activity as they should. Based on research conducted at the Institute for Work & Health, there are many ways employers can play a role to encourage physical activity as part of a healthy lifestyle.
