Colette Severin is a research operations manager and project coordinator at the Institute for Work & Health (IWH). As part of her role in research operations, Severin is the Institute's data documentation coordinator, managing the integrity of data records for all IWH projects.
In her role as project coordinator, she is currently working with Dr. Andrea Furlan on two projects that aims to implement and evaluate the Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) model—one to establish a community of practice among care providers who support public safety personnel in their recovery and return to work (ECHO PSP) and another to increase the capacity of primary healthcare providers to better manage patients with complex work-related injuries and illnesses or environmental exposures (ECHO OEM). She is also involved in a study with Dr. Peter Smith examining long-term health and labour market outcomes of workers who experienced work-related COVID-19 transmission.
