Andrea Larney

Andrea Larney is a communications associate at the Institute for Work & Health, producing newsletters, plain language summaries of IWH research, social media posts and other communications outputs, as well as providing communications support across the organization.

Prior to joining the Institute in April 2023, she has worked in communications roles for a scientific marketing organization and a funding organization for Canadian genomics research projects.

Larney has a bachelor of arts and sciences from the University of Guelph, specializing in psychology and molecular biology/genetics, as well as a master’s of professional communication at Toronto Metropolitan University with a special focus on science communication.
