Cynthia Chen is an analyst/biostatistician in the Data and Information Systems Program at the Institute for Work & Health. She coordinates the planning and allocation of analytic resources at the Institute and also chairs the Quantitative Methods Presentation series.
Since joining the Institute in 2005, Chen has provided statistical support for projects across the Institute’s range of activities. She is currently working with Dr. Aviroop Biswas, exploring the movement patterns of Canadian workers at work and outside of work, and identifying which patterns are associated with optimal cardiometabolic health. She is also working with Dr. Arif Jetha on work disability prevention for millennial young adults with rheumatic disease.
Chen received a master’s degree in biostatistics from the University of Toronto.
