Kate Lamb, Chair

Kate Lamb is the chief operating officer at the Law Society of Ontario. She is a lawyer and, over her career in management, obtained extensive experience leading a wide range of functions at an executive level, including enterprise planning, information technology, client service centres, human resources, policy development, legal services and procurement.
Prior to joining the Law Society of Ontario, Lamb was the chief corporate services officer at Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and the director of Employment and Labour Policy and Program Development at the Ontario Ministry of Labour.
Lamb received her BA (Hons) at Carleton University and her LLB at Queen's University. She is actively involved with the local arts and culture community and, nationally, with First Nations communities.
