Kay Nasir
Kay Nasir is a research associate at the Institute for Work & Health.
Since joining the Institute in 2015, she has provided research support to projects examining health and safety practices in the construction sector, the safety benefits of the Ontario working-at-heights training standard, employer investments in occupational health and safety, safe work integration of immigrant and refugee workers, and preventing musculoskeletal injuries in workplaces. She is currently supporting Dr. Arif Jetha’s research on the future of work and young people.
Nasir holds a BA (honours) in health and society from York University, where she developed a keen interest in qualitative research methods and the health effects of income inequality.
