Momtaz Begum

Momtaz Begum is a research associate at the Institute for Work & Health. She is a qualitative researcher interested in health research, and has worked at multiple research organizations in Australia, Bangladesh and Canada.

Since joining IWH in March 2017, Begum has provided project coordination and research support to IWH scientists on various research projects. Begum is currently providing research support to Dr. Basak Yanar and Dr. Peter Smith.

Begum received her master’s degree in public health from the University of Melbourne in Australia, and also completed a post graduate diploma in workplace wellness and health promotion at Centennial College in Toronto. She is now pursuing a PhD at the University of Toronto's Dalla Lana School of Public Health.
