Morgan Lay
Morgan Lay is the director of strategic relations at the Institute for Work & Health (IWH).
In this role, she leads strategic work building strong and diverse stakeholder relationships and ensuring IWH’s research is responsive to the needs of workers, employers and policy-makers. Lay works closely with the president, scientific director, Board of Directors, and the communications and knowledge transfer and exchange (KTE) teams to identify partnership opportunities and amplify IWH’s impact, provincially, nationally and internationally.
Before joining IWH in 2022, Lay developed and operationalized multi-year strategic plans and coordinated national and international research and policy partnerships as a senior policy advisor and (acting) associate director at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Institute for Population and Public Health (IPPH). From 2014 to 2018, Lay was a research associate and project coordinator at IWH.
Lay has an MPH in epidemiology from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto, and a BSocSc (honours) in political science from the University of Ottawa.
