Therese Salenieks
Therese Salenieks is the national coordinator for Inclusive Design for Employment Access (IDEA), a six-year initiative housed at IWH and McMaster University. She is supporting various operational and administrative processes for IDEA.
Therese has a diversity of experiences in life and work. This includes everything from living and traveling abroad to motherhood, from program coordination, evaluation, and business development roles to ongoing professional development, such as her completion of the Health Equity certificate from the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
Therese has a bachelor’s in physical and health education (BPHE) from the University of Toronto and a MA in physical education and recreation from the University of Alberta. She is interested in most any topic related to health and the social determinants of health. Her educational journey continues IRL (in real life).
