Trang Bui

Trang Bui is a research assistant at the Institute for Work & Health working with Dr. Victoria Landsman. She is pursuing her PhD in statistics at the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science of the University of Waterloo.

Before joining the Institute in September 2023, Bui had three years of experience working as a consultant at the Statistical Consulting and Collaborative Research Unit at the University of Waterloo, providing consultation services to over 70 research projects within the University.

Bui holds a bachelor in mathematical sciences and business and technology management at the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in Daejeon, South Korea. She also holds a master’s in statistics at the University of Waterloo. Bui’s PhD research focuses on designing experiments where the experimental units are connected on a social network.
