Mark the date – IWH unveils tool to help workers consider and communicate support needs
Many workers with episodic, often invisible, chronic conditions struggle with whether to disclose their need for workplace support. Now, there’s a personalized, interactive tool to help these workers think about and ask for the specific job modifications they require. On March 21, the Institute for Work & Health (IWH) unveils the Job Demands and Accommodation Planning Tool (JDAPT), developed as part of a large research partnership. In an IWH Speaker Series webinar, Senior Scientist Dr. Monique Gignac describes how the tool works and shares results from two studies evaluating the tool.
