This guide is intended to help researchers and research organizations plan knowledge transfer and exchange (KTE) strategies and activities to enhance the relevance, quality and use of their research to inform policy or practice. The guide is informed by the research literature on KTE and by the practice of KTE at the Institute for Work & Health (IWH), which involves building stakeholder relationships and integrating stakeholder engagement throughout the research process, as well as using multiple channels to communicate in plain language about research findings.
