Certificate of Recognition (COR) programs are voluntary audits that recognize employers for having strong occupational health and safety (OHS) practices. They offer premium rebates to employers that meet certain OHS management benchmarks or that have implemented return-to-work programs for injured workers. IWH Scientist Dr. Chris McLeod has conducted research on the effectiveness of COR programs in preventing work-related injury. In this presentation, he shares findings, insights and lessons learned from British Columbia and Alberta.
